Britvic 55

01 July 2005. Author: Craig Email: craig@frankray.co.uk

When Dad has high he used to phone us more than 5 times a day, from 6 in the morning till gone midnight. We never used to mind, It was such a releif to hear from him after months of silence.

Here is a recording from an old answerphone tape we found.

In the summer months he usually liked to go our for a drink or 10! But his favouite drink was still an ornage Britvic 55!

I can remember being brought up on this drink at the weekends and some eveings at either the Fordbridge Royal British Legion or the Kinsghusrt & District Labaour Club. I have many found memories of spending hours playing pool with Dad, wiping people off the table and supping a Britvic 55.

The audio file is in MP3 format and is 456k in size.

Dad was a real music nut, and this was the last album he listened to, that we found on his record player. It was Diana Ross, Portrait.
